Sesame Street Live! Knoxville Theatre reviews
Luke Combs, MVP Arena Albany, October 1, 2022
Arrived at MVP Arena in downtown Albany without any issues using Uber. Opted for Uber over parking decks due to the hassle of getting out of them. We arrived just in time for the opening act, Morgan Wade, with a long line at the entrance for metal detectors. Despite the crowd, we found our seats easily. The seating was decent, but the legroom was cramped, so I stood for most of the show. Morgan Wade's performance was decent, but her original songs were labeled as "depressing" by my wife. Jordan Davis took the stage around 7:45 and delivered a good performance, ending with his hit "Buy Dirt". After his set, I took a break for restrooms and drinks. The restroom lines for women were extremely long, but no issue for men. Sesame Street Live! began at 9pm with an unexpected entrance to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck". The band put on a great show, playing all the hits and engaging with the audience. The show ended around 10:35 with a couple of encores. Exiting the venue was smooth, and we headed to Parish Public House for drinks before calling our Uber. Overall, a decent show, although restroom accommodations could be improved for female attendees.
